Germany national team head coach Julian Nagelsmann was in attendance at San Siro for Inter’s 1-0 victory over Arsenal in the Champions League on Wednesday evening, where the performance of Nerazzurri centre-back Yann Aurel Bisseck may have caught his eye.

Nagelsmann was spotted in the San Siro crowd for Wednesday’s game between the Nerazzurri and the Gunners, a match that featured one German representative on each side in Bisseck and Kai Havertz.

Though Bisseck has not been included in the Germany squad for Nations League fixtures against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Hungary in November, there have been suggestions that the 23-year-old could be an interesting option for Die Mannschaft in the near future.

Bisseck earned rave reviews for his performance against Arsenal, and has enjoyed an increased number of opportunities in the starting XI in 2023-24 compared to last season.

Recent reports in Italy suggest that Inter will look to tie Bisseck down to a new contract in the near future as well, as he currently earns a reported wage of around €800,000 after his move from Aarhus last summer.
