According to Le Parisien, PSG forward Bradley Barcola could be included in Didier Deschamps’ squad to represent France at EURO 2024 in Germany. Speculation is beginning to stir as the Les Bleus coach prepares to reveal his squad on Thursday.

A name who would not be considered with a potential call-up for EURO 2024 at the start of the year, Barcola has shocked many with an impressive season for Les Parisiens which has seen him emerge as a contender to represent Les Bleus. Since swapping Lyon for PSG in a €50m summer move, the Lyon academy graduate has become a reliable performer for Luis Enrique.

A first call-up due?

Barcola’s place in the France squad is far confirmed given the plethora of attacking talent afforded to Deschamps and the fact he has never been selected for Les Bleus before. However, after such an impressive season, the 21-year-old has certainly given the France boss another selection headache and it becomes only a matter of if not when he receives his first call-up. With the announcement of 26-man squads, the PSG forward’s chances have only been boosted.
