Real Madrid star Brahim Díaz has on Thursday provided an update on his future with the club.
This comes after reports stemming from the Spanish media this week pointed towards Brahim as being the subject of an incoming assault on the part of one of the Premier League’s heavyweights.
As per OK Diario, Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has informed the board at The Emirates that he considers the 24-year-old a ‘priority’ target with a view to next season.
In turn, the Gunners have been tipped to launch a hefty €70 million summer swoop for Brahim.
Speaking late tonight, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his plans beyond the season’s close was put to the former AC Milan himself.
During an interview with El Larguero, however, Brahim left little room for interpretation, in confirming that he only has eyes for Real Madrid.
“I’m going to take advantage of the minutes they give me,” he began.
“I’m happy at Real Madrid. It’s the best club in the world & it’s a dream to be able to play here. Of course I want to be here for many years. I want to succeed.”
