SK Brann and Benfica both sealed their progress into the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-finals for the first time.
Group A: Rosengard 2-2 Benfica, Barcelona 2-0 Eintracht Frankfurt
Group B: Slavia Praha 0-1 SK Brann, St Polten 0-7 Lyon
SL Benfica’s draw in Rosengard was enough to send them through, Jéssica Silva and Marie Alidou their scorers while Mai Kadowaki levelled late on for the hosts to add to Olivia Schough’s opener.
Barcelona clinched their group while eliminating Eintracht Frankfurt, Patri Guijarro putting them ahead and Caroline Graham Hansen doubling the lead om 73 minutes.
Last-sixteen debutants SK Brann reached the quarter-finals at Slavia Praha’s expense, the only goal coming when 18-year-old Signe Gaupset’s cross was deflected into her own net by goalkeeper Olivie Lukášová.
Lyon thrashed St Polten 7-0 away from home to win their group, Ada Hegerberg and Sara Däbritz each bagging a brace, Vanessa Gilles, Dzsenifer Marozsán and Kadidiatou Diani contributing singles.
