Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard is proud of his first season in the Premier League.

The Dane impressed scoring three goals from midfield.

He told London Football Scene: "It has been a fantastic season both individually and collectively. It has been very impressive to get into this league the way we have done.

"It also makes us even hungrier to do better, and I think there are improvements that need to be made, but for a first season as a promotion we have done really well.

"I have developed so much, especially this season. It has been really nice for me to see that I am capable of playing in this league and that I am a Premier League player.

"I can still improve and I am more than good enough to play at this level. It gives me confidence and a really good feeling mentally."
