Beating higher-ranked teams is indicative of the character and mentality within the team.

The Bees have been in great form in the London South East Division One North, too, amassing an impressive goal tally, whilst also showcasing their ability to remain solid at the other end.

On Sunday 23 March, Karleigh Osborne’s side will host Bromley at Gtech Community Stadium (3pm kick-off GMT) in a key top-of-the-table clash, with only one promotion spot up for grabs.

Ahead of a fourth Brentford Women game at the Gtech, learn more about the individual stories of four key players in the side.

Habeebat Gbajabiamila's journey into football began at the age of seven, inspired by her brothers' involvement in the sport.

Her early experiences playing alongside them created a passion that has only grown stronger over the years.

"Football has always been a significant part of my life," she reflects. "Starting young, I faced challenges that tested my resolve, but each obstacle reinforced my love for the game."

As a woman in football, Gbajabiamila embraces the role of a trailblazer.

"It's about breaking barriers and defying expectations," she asserted.

"Every time I step onto the pitch, I aim to inspire and demonstrate that passion knows no gender."

To aspiring young female footballers, her message is clear: "Believe in yourself, work diligently and cherish every moment on the field. The journey is as important as the destination."

Maddie Phillips' introduction to football was influenced by her sister's participation in Sunday league matches.

This familial connection paved the way for her own footballing journey, leading to trials with Chelsea's Under-12s during her primary school years.

"Football has been my world," Phillips shared. "The joy and fulfilment it brings are beyond words."

Her advice to young girls eyeing a future in football is rooted in her own experiences with the game: "Work hard and be prepared for the unexpected. Challenges are a part of the game; embracing them makes you stronger.

"Remember, talent may open doors, but it's hard work that keeps you there."

Chloe Logie's passion for football was evident from a young age, inspired by watching her brothers play.

Recognising the lack of opportunities for girls, her father established a girls' team, providing her with a platform to nurture her talent.

"Football has been instrumental in my personal development," Logie reflected. "It's introduced me to diverse individuals and taught me invaluable life lessons.

"My dad formed a girls’ team for me, as local teams were mixed. Playing women's football has been pivotal in my life, helping me grow personally.”

To young aspirants, she advised: "Play for yourself and the love of the game. Don't let external opinions deter you. Whether you start early or late, if you have the passion, pursue it wholeheartedly."

"I'm immensely proud of the strides women's football has made and also what this club has done, too. The increased visibility and recognition is so encouraging," she explained.

"Working hard, enjoying every moment and always playing with a smile are what I live by and would be my message to anyone trying to become a footballer. There is no point in doing this if you do not enjoy it whilst it is happening.”
