Brighton close to signing Fiorentina’s Igor | OneFootball

Premier League side Brighton are close to sealing a move for Fiorentina defender Igor.

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Fulham and personal terms were agreed between the two parties, but the two clubs could not find an agreement.

FirenzeViola report that Fiorentina are now close to selling the defender, who is on the verge of joining the Seagulls. The player is close to agreeing terms with the Seagulls and work is being done by the two clubs over an agreement. There is a feeling that it could be done in the next 48 hours.

Fiorentina could earn around €15 million to €17 million from Igor sale, and he is expected to be out of Vincenzo Italiano’s project at the Franchi.

The 25-year-old has done well at Fiorentina since joining from SPAL and has been a regular since the last two seasons and he played an important role in their march to the Conference League final.
