Forward missed FA Cup win over Norwich with ankle injury
Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler has confirmed the latest on Joao Pedro’s fitness ahead of Wednesday's Premier League trip to Ipswich.
The forward missed Saturday’s 4-0 win over Norwich in the FA Cup third-round with an ankle injury suffered in training last week.
Pedro has suffered with various knocks out for much of the campaign thus far and has started only 12 League games but had started to get back to something approaching his best form of late.
The 23-year-old recorded two assists in a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa last month before scoring a controversial penalty in the 1-1 draw with Arsenal at the start of January.
Still, having missed the win at Carrow Road, Hurzeler stressed he would not be rushing the forward back into the starting lineup and a decision will be made later on Tuesday.

“We have to see today,” he said.
“He's training with the team and then we can decide if we'll take the risk to play him [against Ipswich]. What's most important is how the player feels. We won't do any stupid things, we have to wait until after the training session.
"He hasn't been able to get into his rhythm but I spoke to him yesterday for a long time and he's in a comfortable place. He's enjoys it here and he's happy with his performances.
"Of course he would want to be on the pitch for every game, but sometimes your body doesn't want the same thing so you have to adapt
"We can't forget that he's still a very young player."
Brighton travel to Manchester United on Sunday before hosting Everton to complete what has been a busy January.
