Kaoru Mitoma's potential move to Al Nassr will not take place after Brighton made it clear they would not sell the player at any price according to BBC's Simon Stone.
The Seagulls had rejected a bid worth around £54m on Thursday, and there were reports suggesting the Saudi Pro League side were set for a second, larger bid.
However, Brighton informed Al Nassr they had no need to sell, were not interested in selling, and would not regardless of the price. They also believe Mitoma was not interested in the move.
Al Nassr, who are set to sign Jhon Durán from Aston Villa, are said to have accepted the situation and backed off.
Mitoma has been a key player for Brighton since breaking into the team under Graham Potter at the start of the 2022/23 season, and has played every single lPremier eague game this season under Fabian Hürzeler.
With his future now resolved, the Japanese international can turn all his focus towards tomorrow's clash with Nottingham Forest.
