Aitana Bonmati, Alyssa Naeher and Emma Hayes were the main winners at The Best FIFA awards 2024, while Lucy Bronze was included in the Women’s 11.
Aitana Bonmati retained the The Best FIFA Women’s Player 2024 honour, the Spain and Barcelona star gaining 52 voting points to finish head of Barbra Banda (39) and Caroline Graham Hansen (37).
USA’s Alyssa Naeher, who announced her retirement earlier this year, won The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper 2024 with 26 points, in front of Cata Coll with 22 and Mary Earps in third place on 11.
Emma Hayes was named The Best FIFA Women’s Coach 2024 for the second time, picking up 23 points which was three ahead of Jonatan Giraldez (Barcelona/Washington Spirit) with Arthur Elias (Brazil) third on 13 points.
Six Barcelona stars made the World 11, joined by three from USA’s Olympic winners, plus Chelsea and England’s Lucy Bronze and Gabi Portilho (Cortinthians/Brazil).

The inaugural FIFA Marta Award for the best goal in women’s football was won by the Brazilian legend herself. Her strike in June was nominated alongside ten others and earned 22 points in the voting, two more than the total for Asisat Oshoala, with Sakina Karchaoui third on 16.
