Claudio Pizarro has announced this will be his last season as a professional footballer.
The Peruvian has scored 197 Bundesliga goals during his incredible career.
“This will be my last season, definitely,” Pizarro told reporters on Friday.
“I feel good, but it’s enough.”
Pizarro then ruled out playing for another club.
The striker, who is in his fifth stint at Werder Bremen, is the oldest goalscorer in Bundesliga history.
He has also, incredibly, scored at least one Bundesliga goal in each of the last 21 calendar years.
A six-time Bundesliga winner, Pizarro has scored the second most goals for a non-German player in the history of the league, only behind Robert Lewandowski.
