Burnley are close to signing Brentford forward Halil Dervişoğlu, according to The Athletic.
The forward is set to join the Clarets as part of a season long loan agreement.
Vincent Kompany has been in the market for a further forward addition to his squad for the majority of the summer.
But it has taken until deadline day to get a deal over the line, with the striker set to become the club’s 15th signing of the transfer window.
The Belgian coach has overhauled the side which suffered relegation to the Championship under Sean Dyche last season.
It is believed that a deal for Michael Obafemi is also being pursued, as Kompany continues to rebuild the squad following his appointment as manager during the off-season.
The Irish international has emerged as a late transfer target for Burnley, who are hoping they can come to a compromise on a fee with Swansea City before the 11pm deadline this evening.

Dervişoğlu spent last season on loan with Turkish giants Galatasaray, where he made 28 league appearances.
He has featured just once for Thomas Frank’s side in the Premier League, earning a substitute cameo in the closing stages of the Bees’ opening day draw with Leicester City.
The Verdict
Dervişoğlu will be a good option for Burnley to have in their squad, with Ashley Barnes and Jay Rodriguez the only real forwards in the current team.
The forward hasn’t quite settled in England, but perhaps a move to Kompany’s side will help him to adjust, which could benefit all parties.
The additional potential signing of Obafemi would be extremely exciting, with the 22-year old really developing his game over the last 12 months.
He could bring a lot to Kompany’s attack, and give the team the exciting, young and mobile forward that it currently lacks.
