Brentford striker Halil Dervişoğlu is set to move out on loan to Burnley, according to journalist Gokmen Ozcan.
The forward had been previously linked with a move to Championship rivals Hull City, but a deal never came to fruition.
However, it is now being reported that the Clarets have swooped in to sign the Bees’ player with only a couple of days left in the transfer window.
It is believed that the agreement between the two clubs does not include an option to buy clause for next summer.
The 22-year old spent the previous campaign on loan with Turkish side Galatasaray, where he scored four goals from 28 league appearances.
The Turkish international has only played once in the Premier League since the London club earned promotion to the top flight in 2021, which was an eight minute cameo in Thomas Frank’s side’s 2-2 draw with Leicester City in the opening game of this campaign.

The Dutch-born player has yet to really settle at Brentford, making only a handful of league appearances for the club since his arrival from Sparta Rotterdam in 2020.
He will become Vincent Kompany’s 14th summer signing since his appointment as manager was confirmed during the off-season.
The Verdict
Dervişoğlu hasn’t quite been able to make it work at Brentford, but perhaps a move to Burnley could help him settle to life in England.
Kompany is in need of added depth up front with their only options currently being Ashley Barnes and Jay Rodriguez.
With only a couple of days left in the window, reinforcements up front are sorely needed so getting a body through the door is a positive note to end the summer on.
Attention will now have to focus on performances and results, with the Belgian coach having done a good job overhauling the squad since his arrival.
