The squad for the Kreispokal semi-final was supplemented by three players from the second team: Lea Auffenberg, goalkeeper Celina Hoffmann and Charlotte Weber bolstered the first team in Körne.
The Black & Yellows gave the hosts no chance from the outset. Mandy Reinhardt opened the scoring in the third minute of the match. Sarah Giebels increased the lead to 2-0 just three minutes later. Finnja Schriek scored her first goal in the eighth minute, before Reinhardt found the net for the second time in the 11th minute. Schriek made it 5-0 in the 18th minute and Lea Auffenberg made it 6-0 in the 29th minute. Schriek completed her hat-trick before the break with a goal to make it 7-0 (37).
Immediately after the restart, Schriek again could not be stopped by the DJK TuS Körne defence and made it 8-0 (47). Winger Marah Tayeh was next to join the list of goalscorers (50), before Schriek made it 10-0 in the 51st minute and 11-0 in the 54th. Things quietened down a little after that, but it was still an uneventful evening for Celina Hoffmann in the Borussia goal. At no point did the young goalkeeper have to intervene. The Black & Yellows began to push forward again with a goal from Mia Bedarf, who converted a free-kick from around 20 metres out in the 71st minute. Tayeh increased the lead to 13-0 in the 73rd minute and then Schriek scored another double to get her seventh and eighth goals of the day (78/81). Striker Giebels then also scored twice (82/85). Reinhardt made it 18-0 in the 87th minute and Tayeh scored the final goal with a penalty in the 89th minute. In the end, the BVB women advanced to the final of the Kreispokal with a 19-0 victory over the Kreisliga team from Körne. Although the final has not yet been scheduled, the opponent, TV Brechten, has already been confirmed.
The BVB women will next play in the Westfalenliga on Sunday, when they host DJK Grün-Weiss Amelsbüren (15:00 CEST).
