Italy Under-21 international Cher Ndour could make his Serie A debut for Cagliari with reports Paris Saint-Germain will loan him out.
The 19-year-old midfielder was born and raised in Brescia and started out in the Atalanta youth academy, but moved to Benfica in 2020 and then PSG in 2023.
He scored one goal in his total four appearances for the French giants this season, but is now looking for more regular playing time elsewhere.
Several different clubs were mentioned for a potential loan, above all Palermo in Serie B, but Sky Sport Italia suggest this evening that Serie A is beckoning.
Claudio Ranieri’s Cagliari are challenging to stay in the top flight and believe Ndour could help them achieve that aim.
Negotiations are still on-going, but Cagliari would give Ndour a spotlight in Serie A.
The Sardinians are seeking reinforcements and had originally thought of Michael Adopo, but Atalanta do not want to let him leave in January.
