Francesco Camarda nearly left Milan to go on loan but he’ll keep wearing Red and Black.

The 16-year-old Camarda has been part of the first team for most of the season, making a few appearances in Serie A and in the Champions League (without finding the net yet), but not playing consistently.

In the last couple of days there has been talk of Camarda leaving Milan and joining Monza on an 18-month loan to get more playing time, but as reported by Sky Italia, Milannews.it and others tonight (Saturday) the Rossoneri have decided to not go through with the deal.

The man behind the final ‘no’, Matteo Moretto reports, is Zlatan Ibrahimović, who wants to keep Camarda in the squad at least until the end of the season.

The transfer already seemed to be in the final stages, but it will not happen.
