Candreva believes there is ‘confusion’ within Milan: ‘A negative air has been created’ | OneFootball

AC Milan’s season has been quite torrid, and today, Antonio Candreva has spoken of a few situations which he believes have contributed to the negativities.

From the outside looking in, the problems within Milan are quite easily identifiable, which is quite a worry. Normally, if a side is underperforming, there may be small errors noticeable only through watching and reading details.

However, a brief glance at this team makes finding issues almost easy. From the head coach to the management, there is a constant feeling of uncertainty, and ahead of the mercato, this is trickling onto the players.

So, in the midst of all the issues, former winger Candreva has spoken to Sky Sports about the situation, and Milan News have relayed his words.

“A negative air has been created in Milan, with the change of coach and of many players who were initially taken to stay for a long time: I’m thinking of Alvaro Morata above all. There is some confusion.

“If Milan had won the games they were supposed to, they would have been in contention for fourth place. If they still want to believe in Europe, they must not make any more missteps between now and the end.”

Hearing the situation being defined as a crisis is certainly a bit of a worry, especially considering the importance of this summer already. It is sure to be an interesting few months, especially with Sergio Conceicao looking to cause a stir.
