Sky Sport Italia reports Cesare Casadei will join Torino on a permanent transfer from Chelsea, but the Blues will have a sell-on clause.

Italian talent Casadei is set to join Torino from Chelsea, according to Sky Sport Italia.

Both the Granata and Lazio had been in talks for the 22-year-old, but Torino eventually convinced Chelsea and the player.

Sky Sport claims Casadei will move to the Stadio Grande Torino on a permanent transfer worth €10-12m.

The two clubs are expected to finalise the deal today, January, Tuesday 21.

The report claims that Chelsea will have a significant sell-on clause if Torino sell the player in the coming years.

Casadei joined Chelsea from Inter in 2022 for €15m plus add-ons.

He was the Best Player and top goal scorer at the latest U20 World Cup with Italy.

The 22-year-old has struggled for playing time under Enzo Maresca this season, making just six appearances. He has three goals in 12 appearances with Italy U21.

According to Sky Sport, Torino are also in talks with Inter for Tajon Buchanan’s loan until the end of the season.
