La Liga outfit Celta Vigo have on Wednesday announced a blow on the personnel front.
The Celestes star set for an incoming spell on the sidelines? Carlos Domínguez.
Defender Domínguez, for his part, has played a key role for his side over the early weeks of the term, featuring from the off in three of Celta Vigo’s four La Liga fixtures.
In turn, it will mark a blow for Claudio Giráldez and his coaching staff to hear that the 23-year-old is primed for a spell on the treatment table.
Domínguez was forced into a premature departure from Celta’s meeting with Osasuna this past weekend.
And, as per a release across the club’s website and social media platforms on Wednesday, ensuing medical tests have revealed a ‘grade I tear in his right thigh’.
The stopper, as a result, is expected to be unavailable for a minimum of two weeks, ruling him out out of Celta’s post-international break return to action against Real Valladolid.
