Celtic FC Women drawn against Ukrainian opposition in UCL play-off

After dispatching FC Gintra 2-0 in the final qualifying match of round one, today (Monday September 9) Elena Sadiku's side learned who they will face in the play-off round as they look to make it to the Champions League group stages for the first time.

The Celts have been drawn against FC Vorskla Poltava of Ukraine with those ties set to be played on 18/19 and 25/26 of September. The Ukrainian side have won five league titles in their history and despite never having made it past the qualifying rounds of the Champions League, they will be determined to provide a tough test for the Hoops.
