While Lorient have allowed him to leave this summer following their relegation in Ligue 2, Yvon Mvogo (30) is attracting interest from multiple clubs in France and abroad.

Two years after his arrival from PSV Eindhoven, Mvogo’s journey in Brittany has probably come to an end with the club’s relegation to Ligue 2. The Switzerland international brought all his experience to Lorient and was one of the standout players despite the club’s disappointing season. The former Leipzig keeper is already garnering interest from multiple clubs and could be tempted by another challenge abroad.

According to a report from L’Équipe, Yvon Mvogo will be allowed to leave Lorient this summer following the club’s relegation to Ligue 2. The Swiss international has a lot of suitors queuing up and would be closer to a move abroad than another challenge in France. While Nantes have given up despite their search for another keeper upon Alban Lafont’s (25) potential exit, OGC Nice have added his name to their shortlist. However, Les Rouges et Noirs will have to face competition from Parma, freshly promoted in Serie A, and Celtic Glasgow. Mvogo will decide what is best for him in due time, when his Euros involvement will come to an end.
