Champions League line-ups: Inter vs. RB Leipzig

Inter try to keep their spectacular form going, despite massive squad rotation with the return of Hakan Calhanoglu, Mehdi Taremi and Lautaro Martinez against troubled RB Leipzig.

It kicks off at San Siro at 20.00 GMT.

The Nerazzurri are one point off the top of the Serie A table and crushed Verona 5-0 on Saturday, while they’ve won all their Champions League games except the opening 0-0 draw away to Manchester City.

Along with Atalanta, they are yet to concede a single goal in Europe so far this season, despite squad rotation that continues today.

Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco return to the wings, with Calhanoglu having shaken off a knock from international duty.

Marcus Thuram is rested this time in attack, so Lautaro Martinez partners Taremi.

The only player on the treatment table is now Francesco Acerbi.

RB Leipzig have struggled a great deal this season, both domestically and especially in the Champions League, where they lost all four matches.

That includes fumbling a lead to lose 3-2 against 10-man Juventus on home turf.

The Germans also have a lengthy absentee list, including ex-Napoli midfielder Eljif Elmas, Yussuf Poulsen, Netherlands international Xavi Simons, El Chadaille Bitshiabu, Lukas Klostermann, Xaver Schlager and David Raum.

There is nonetheless plenty of talent in the squad, such as star strikers Lois Openda and Benjamin Sesko, but ex-Milan striker Andre Silva starts instead of Sesko.
