Championship clubs ‘make enquiry’ for Rangers midfielder | OneFootball

Ibrox Noise understands that Rangers will be looking to move on a number of players this January.

And one of the most notable names to have surface recently is that of Kieran Dowell.

The free agent signing under Michael Beale, meant for cover for Todd Cantwell has been about as average an addition as there has ever been at Ibrox.

Rangers fans are frequently frustrated at seeing the midfielder arriving on the pitch with five minutes to go adding nothing while he is there.

And we understand some championship clubs have made some enquiries about his availability.

Unfortunately there is very little profit to be made here but Rangers can get £1 million out of this it will be good business.

Dowell has been a completely pointless signing and had been told in the summer that he was surplus. However, nobody made a move for him and he remained at Ibrox.

We are not sure if he has an appearance clause which forces these bizarre substitute appearances but it is time for him to move on.

Hopefully, he gets his move out of Rangers this window and we never have to see him again.
