Charleroi lure promising striker Alexandre Stanić away from Royal Antwerp

Charleroi have announced the signing of promising young forward, Alexandre Stanić (20) from Royal Antwerp. The Belgian striker has signed a professional contract until 2026, with an option of a further two years.

Stanić spent six months at the Bosuil with the the Great Old’s U23s and played 10 matches for the Young Reds.

In mid-September, he came on as a substitute in the final match against Union for the first team yet has moved on to the Zebras with perhaps more game time in mind to aid his development.

In a breakthrough 2023-24 season, Stanic notably scored 16 goals for KV Mechelen’s youth before joining Royal Antwerp.
