Ross has been an important player for Charlton Athletic over the last three seasons. After joining the South East Londoners from Liverpool in summer 2021, the midfielder has gone on to make 54 appearances for the club in the Barclays Women’s Championship in which she has scored two goals.

Ross was an unused substitute for Charlton Athletic when they faced Portsmouth at The Valley on the opening day of this season. The player will now have to cheer on her teammates from the sidelines for the remainder of the campaign.

The midfielder’s injury is a bitter blow for Charlton Athletic who have enjoyed an excellent start to the new Barclays Women’s Championship season. Karen Hills’ side have recorded back-to-back wins. The Addicks defeated Portsmouth 3-0 on opening day before beating Sheffield United 1-0 at Bramall Lane last night.
