Chelsea are Women’s Super League champions once again after seeing off Manchester United with a narrow 1-0 victory on Wednesday night.
It was Lucy Bronze who popped up with the crucial goal in 74th minute, nodding home in a tight and nervy clash at Leigh Sports Village.
The Blues only needed a point to seal the deal – but grabbed all three for good measure.
That win means the Blues have now won a record eighth WSL title – and incredibly, their sixth in a row.
Earlier in the evening, Arsenal had the chance to keep the title race alive but got absolutely thumped 5-2 by Aston Villa, which opened the door for Chelsea to wrap things up.
With two games left, Sonia Bompastor's side also have the chance to go the whole season unbeaten – they’ve avoided defeat in all 20 matches so far.
