Chelsea have reportedly already held talks to sign a 29-year-old Cameroon international as a free agent this summer.

The new comes after Chelsea beat Premier League winners Liverpool 3-1 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon in what was a fantastic overall performance by The Blues.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now looking at move for 6ft 4in France Olympic Team international defender!!

Cole Palmer was back in fine form for Chelsea and is one of the reasons that they put in such a good performance, with the stats proving this as well.

Palmer was also involved in Chelsea’s first goal of the game in the opening minutes, as well as some good work by Romeo Lavia and Pedro Neto to setup Enzo Fernandez to provide a lovely finish to get things going.

Chelsea in for a busy summer

As per multiple popular outlets and sources, Chelsea look most likely to be in for a new striker, centre back, and a winger this summer as we foresee another busy window at Stamford Bridge.

They will also be looking to free up some space in the squad and balance the books by selling a number of their current players once again as well.

New midfielder on the agenda as well?

I don’t think Chelsea will be in need of another new midfielder, however, they are being linked with one.

Frank Anguissa is out of contract at Napoli this summer, and it looks like Chelsea are interested in signing him, at least if this report is to be believed.

According to Il Mattino, the Blues have already held more than one round of talks in their bid to land the 29-year-old Cameroon international.

The report goes on to claim that Chelsea believe he will see it as a chance at “redemption” in the Premier League having previously played for Fulham here.
