Chelsea have been “hugely impressed” by what they’ve seen and been told about Strasbourg striker Emanuel Emegha according to reports.
The Blues are gearing up for a busy summer and could fund their transfer business by selling as many as seven or eight players.
Chelsea face a critical summer as they look to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.
The main priority for Chelsea this summer is a striker, and the Blues have certainly paid the price for not having an alternative to Nicolas Jackson.
The Blues have been strongly linked with Liam Delap and are said to be in a strong position to land the 22-year-old, who’s £30m relegation release clause is now active.
Chelsea have also been linked with the likes of Benjamin Sesko and Hugo Ekitike, but there’s another name they could move for.

TBR Football have reported insiders at Chelsea have been very impressed with Strasbourg striker Emegha and he could be an option for the Blues this summer, with some at Stamford Bridge saying he should get a chance.
The report adds West Ham and Everton have also shown interest in the 22-year-old, whilst BlueCo expect the striker to leave.
TBR Football state Chelsea have been “hugely impressed” by what they’ve seen from Emegha who’s scored 14 goals and provided three assists in 26 Ligue 1 games.
Strasbourg signed Emegha for just £12m in the summer of 2023 from Austrian side Sturm Graz, whilst he’s impressed for the Dutch under-21s with three goals in nine caps.

Chelsea currently have Marc Guiu on their books, but if a new striker arrives that increases the chances of him going on loan.
If the Blues are serious about a move for Emegha it shouldn’t be too difficult to do, and Chelsea have already agreed a deal in January to sign his team-mate Mamadou Sarr, who will join this summer.
