Chelsea have been linked with a move for Grace Geyoro, with reports in France stating they have made a 'rare offer' for the PSG captain.
Geyoro recently starred for France at Euro 2022, featuring in all five of her side's games as they reached the semi finals of the European Championships for the first time in their history. The midfielder hit a stunning first half hat-trick in Les Bleus' 5-1 thrashing of Italy in their opening group game.
Geyoro has been with PSG since the age of 15, and was a key part of the Parisians 2020/21 title winning campaign, as her side wrestled the Division 1 Féminine crown from all conquering Lyon for the first time in 14 years.
The 25-year-old is contracted to PSG until June 2024, having signed fresh terms with the French outfit in December 2021, but according to L'Equipe, she would 'not be against' embarking on a new challenge overseas.
The current world record transfer fee in the women's game remains the sum in excess of £250,000 that Chelsea paid Wolfsburg for Denmark playmaker Pernille Harder in the summer of 2020.
The Blues have already enjoyed a busy transfer window under the new ownership of Todd Boehly, bringing in five new signings.
Eve Perisset, Kadeisha Buchanan, Katerina Svitkova, Lucy Watson and Johanna Rytting Kaneryd have all moved to the west London outfit during the 2022 summer transfer window.
