Barcelona forward Ferran Torres has emerged as a transfer target for Chelsea, as the Premier League side prepares its squad for the next season.
According to reports from Fichajes, the Blues have identified the Spaniard as a potential reinforcement for their attacking lineup.
It must be noted that despite making a positive impression on Hansi Flick, Torres remains behind Robert Lewandowski in the pecking order at Barcelona.
With the Polish striker expected to stay at the club beyond this season, Torres may soon have to reassess his role within the squad.
This uncertainty has opened the door for Chelsea, who are actively looking to strengthen their frontline due to the expected departures of players like Joao Felix, now on loan at AC Milan and Christopher Nkunku.
Torres, under contract with Barcelona until 2027, has caught Chelsea’s attention, and the London club is reportedly prepared to make an offer of €30 million to secure his services.

The 24-year-old’s future has been a topic of discussion in recent months, particularly after a strong interest from Saudi Arabia during the January transfer window.
While in Jeddah for the Spanish Super Cup, he received a lucrative proposal from an unnamed Saudi club. However, the move did not materialise, and he remained with Barcelona.
Despite staying put, Torres has continued to attract interest from Premier League clubs. Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also closely monitoring his situation as they plan their summer signings.
With Chelsea now entering the race, Barcelona could soon face multiple offers for the forward, potentially leading to a bidding war.
The coming months will be crucial in determining Torres’ future, as Barcelona evaluates its squad plans while European clubs prepare their offers for the talented attacker.
