The youngster joined Chelsea from Tottenham Hotspur in summer 2022. Humphries is yet to represent The Blues at first team level but she has been a member of the club’s Professional Game Academy League side. The 18-year-old is unlikely to get many first team minutes this season and Chelsea may need to decide whether to allow Humphries to continue to develop within their academy system or send the player out on loan for senior playing time.

After signing her first professional contract with Chelsea, Humphries said “It’s a very proud and exciting moment for me and my family. It’s my dream come true to sign a professional contract at this club

“It’s the club my family and I have supported our entire lives. I’m so grateful to be given an opportunity here and I can’t wait to get started.”

Humphries is the third player to sign a new deal with Chelsea this summer.
