City's 2-1 victory over Bournemouth on Sunday means we'll play in the FA Cup semi-final for a record seventh successive season.
Last year's journey all the way to the final set the record at six semi-final appearances in a row, with this season's run now further enhancing that accolade.
It underlines how City have competed across all fronts throughout Guardiola's reign, even while we have won six of the last eight Premier League titles.
In that time, we've lifted the trophy twice - in 2018/19 during our Fourmidables campaign and 2022/23 as part of a historic Treble.
The run actually began in 2018/19, when we overcame Rotherham, Burnley, Newport County, Swansea, Brighton and Watford.
Semi-final exits followed in 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 as competing priorities with Premier League and Champions League forced the squad one step too far.
That wasn't the case in 2022/23 however, with early round successes over Chelsea, Arsenal, Bristol City and Burnley backed up at Wembley by a semi-final win over Sheffield United and unforgettable final win over Manchester United.
We again reached the final in 2023/24 before this term's seventh successive return to Wembley in this competition.
We will now compete against Premier League surprise package Nottingham Forest at the national stadium in the final weekend of April for the right to play in this season's final.
