England have included five City players in their squad for the Lionesses’ upcoming Nations League fixtures.
Alex Greenwood, Lauren Hemp, Khiara Keating and Jess Park have been selected by Sarina Wiegman, meanwhile, Chloe Kelly – who is currently on loan at Arsenal – has also been called up.
England currently sit second in League A Group 3 on seven points after four matches and will lock horns with Portugal and Spain across the end of May and start of June.
The Lionesses first welcome Francisco Neto’s side to Wembley Stadium on Friday 30 May at 19:45 (UK).
They will then travel to Spain on Tuesday 3 June, with kick-off at RCDE Stadium set for 18:00 (UK).
Wiegman’s team opened their Nations League campaign with a 1-1 draw with Portugal before beating the reigning world champions 1-0 in February thanks to Park’s strike at Wembley.
Their following two matches were back-to-back meetings with Belgium where they recorded a 5-0 home success before suffering a narrow 3-2 defeat in the reverse fixture.
If England are to top League A Group 3 after their next two assignments, they will qualify for the Nations League finals where they will play a semi-final then either a final or a third-place play-off at the end of the year.
Congratulations to those from City who have been selected in England’s latest squad!
