PREVIOUS MEETING

Our last encounter with Ipswich dates back to 27 January 2002 where City ran out 4-1 winners on the road in the FA Cup.

City’s previous clash with Ipswich in the Premier League was on 25 November 2000 at Maine Road. The Tractor Boys left Manchester with three points after a 2-3 victory.

LAST TIME OUT

Our Premier League campaign got off to a flying start with a 2-0 win at Chelsea.

Erling Haaland, on his 100th appearance for the Club, opened up the scoring when he converted from close range on 18 minutes.

In a tense, end-to-end game, former Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic gave City some breathing space when he curled an effort in from range six minutes before full-time.
