Everything you need to know about the fixture schedule over the festive period for City’s Elite Development Squad and Under-18s.

December is a much slower month of games for our Academy sides with both teams set to take a winter break over Christmas.

But there are still important games to play for both Ben Wilkinson’s Under-21s and Oliver Reiss’s Under-18s before a short break.

EDS FIXTURES

Juventus v City | Wednesday 11 December, 14:00 (UK) | UEFA Youth League

Our Under-19s may be on the cusp of qualifying for the knockout stage of the UEFA Youth League after our 6-1 win over Feyenoord, but a win over Juventus will help our final standing in the League Phase massively.

We travel to Italy for a mid-afternoon kick-off which will be available to watch live on CITY+.

A detailed match report and post-match reaction from Wilkinson and his players will all be available shortly after our final League Phase match has concluded.

Nottingham Forest v City | Monday 16 December, 19:00 (UK) | Premier League 2

Our final game of 2024 will see City’s EDS fight to stay top of the table come 2025.

A late winner over Sunderland at the end of November saw City pick up an eighth successive win and Wilkinson’s squad will be motivated to maintain the winning form until the end of the year.

UNDER-18S FIXTURES

City v Crystal Palace | Friday 6 December, 19:00 (UK) | FA Youth Cup

City’s fight to retain the FA Youth Cup will begin with a home clash against Under-18 Premier League South side Crystal Palace.

The Joie Stadium will host the match with the game available to watch live on CITY+, along with regular updates on X: @ManCityAcademy.

A detailed match report and post-match reaction from Oliver Reiss’s first game in charge in the FA Youth Cup will be available shortly after the final whistle.

City v Stoke | Saturday 14 December, 11:30 (UK) | Under-18 Premier League North

Our final game of 2024 for the Under-18s will see us welcome the Potters to the City Football Academy for an 11:30 (UK) kick-off.

A win against Stoke would be our ninth successive victory as we continue to fight and chase down league leaders Manchester United.

The clash with Stoke will be available to fans with a CITY+ subscription with regular updates also available on X.
