Diego Valdés insists that Club América are united in their belief that they will turn their fortunes around soon.
Las Aguilas’ manager Santiago Solari has come under scrutiny with his side sitting in 16th place but Valdés doesn’t believe a change of coach is the solution they need.
“The group, in general, is united,” the 28-year-old told Azteca Deportes.
“We have to work even harder, we have to be more concentrated. Above all, we need people to see that we are united with the coaching staff, we support them one hundred per cent.
“We know that we are in a streak that does not give us the results, but we are going to get out of this. Trust us, we are going to move forward.”
Los Azul-Cremas head into their weekend fixture at Pumas having only picked up four points from their opening six fixtures.
