Arsenal are set to face Chelsea on Sunday, and though the Blues mostly have a clean bill of health, Matt Law reports for The Telegraph that Cole Palmer is due to have a scan to rule out the possibility of an injury.
Palmer was on the end of a heavy challenge by Lisandro Martinez whilst playing against Manchester United at the weekend, leaving stud marks on his knee.
The player limped away from Old Trafford, and his knee remained sore during Chelsea’s journey back to London.

Chelsea hope that the soreness will settle and he hasn’t suffered any serious damage to rule him out of the Arsenal clash. But they’re giving the player a scan just to be sure.
Palmer won’t be involved for the Blues in their Europa Conference League game in midweek, as he hasn’t been named in their squad for the competition.
With such a large number of players at Chelsea, some had to be sacrificed, and the Conference League was evidently viewed as a chance to give Palmer a rest.

Jadon Sancho was also struggling with an illness last week, and he’s been out of training for a few days. But the winger should be back in contention for Chelsea’s game on Thursday.
Sancho’s involvement in that game would give us a concrete answer as to his availability against Arsenal.
Other than that, Chelsea have a fully-fit and available squad to face the Gunners.
