Contact between Ranieri-Federico Chiesa

Roma have reportedly shown interest in Federico Chiesa ahead of the next summer window.
After just one season at Liverpool, the former Juventus player could already leave England, due to his limited playing time and the lack of trust he has received from the new Dutch coach Arne Slot.
Chiesa has never been at the centre of the English club’s project. His adventure at the Reds could end already in the summer, and Roma is back with a bang among the possible destinations.
As reported by La Repubblica del Pallone, Claudio Ranieri has already moved to bring the striker back to Italy, with an operation that could also materialise with the loan formula.
The Roma boss is said to have contacted Chiesa and his entourage.
Last summer Chiesa had already been very close to the Giallorossi, despite there being several European clubs after him. In the end, however, the failure to close the operation, due to Juventus’ excessively high demands for the player’s transfer, forced Roma to turn to other profiles, also having other roles to strengthen.
Today the scenario has changed: Chiesa is looking for a new opportunity, Roma is looking for a top player.
