Ahead of the game between Napoli and AC Milan at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona tomorrow, Antonio Conte spoke to the media at his pre-match presser.

Napoli are in desperate need of three points after just one win in the last seven games, drawing five of them. There is now a slight gap with Inter at the top and Antonio Conte’s men have to be a lot more composed in the season finale.

Speaking to the media earlier today, as transcribed by MilanNews, Conte shared his thoughts on the game and what it will be like to face Milan. The quotes below are just an excerpt of the whole presser, but this is the most relevant for the Rossoneri fans.

Do you have clear ideas on how to face Milan?

“It would be a problem not to have clear ideas 24 hours before the game. The ideas are very clear and now we have to implement them.”

“There is some happiness in having recovered someone like Neres, but also a bit of disappointment that Anguissa returned with some problems, for having lost Spinazzola, but we have faced every situation with our chests out and we will try to make the best decisions.

“We are facing a very strong team, built to win the Scudetto, then it can always go certain ways… In January, they brought in strong players, so we will have to be careful. We are facing Milan who are a great team, they have an excellent coach. Tomorrow, even more than other times, we will need the support of Stadio Maradona.

“We will have to suffer, I say this in advance, but in the suffering we will have to go beyond the obstacle. We are facing a team that had the ambition of the Scudetto and strengthened in January to go to the Champions League, great respect but never fear,” he stated.

Just like Napoli, Milan also need to come away with a win as they are fighting for a spot in the Champions League. Not clinching a win tomorrow would make things very difficult in the top-four race, and certainly hurt the confidence after two consecutive wins.
