Cork City boss Colin Healy admits he's unsure if goalkeeper David Harrington is in talks with Premier League clubs.
Everton and Newcastle United are interested the 22 year-old Irishman.
Everton were heavily linked with a summer move for the 22-year-old, having a reported approach rejected towards the final days of the window. But the young stopper has since travelled to Merseyside for personal talks, with a January return looking likely amid fresh interest from Newcastle United, says the Liverpool Echo.
"He's still here anyway, that's all I know, to be honest," Healy told the Irish Examiner. “He's still here and he will be with us for another while. I don't know if there are more talks going on in the background. I don't know that, that's behind the scenes.
“But he's here, he's focussed. He's trained very well this week so there's no bother with him."
Speaking shortly after their draw against Longford Town last Friday, Healy admitted that Everton are a 'massive club'.
“He's a young lad. He's done very, very well for himself, he's got a big future in the game," he said. “It can be difficult when you're a young lad. You have got that pressure and you are linked with Everton.
“Listen they're a massive club, they are. People don't realise how big they are. So let's see what happens over the next few days with it."
