The management at AC Milan is regularly a criticised area, and this has led Gerry Cardinale, the club’s owner, to take some serious action which many won’t have seen coming.

Since the idea of Zlatan Ibrahimovic returning became more than a concept, there have been questions about the Swede’s power. In every department, his presence has been felt, and with results falling massively, the club have faltered.

As a result, the former striker has been scathed quite heavily on a seemingly constant basis, but he has refused to listen to these criticisms. However, things seem to have now caught up with him.

In recent weeks, it has been reported that there has been a tension between him and Giorgio Furlani – which is not the first instance of tension involving the Milan legend – and once again, it is to do with the direction of the club.

Considering Zlatan has been deemed to be the ‘vessel’ of Cardinale, it is imaginable that the American would side with, in a way, himself. However, that has now changed, as it seems that all the power will be renavigated now, with Furlani being given the keys by Cardinale, as reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News).

Despite this, reports suggest that Ibrahimovic has ‘new plans for Milan’, but whether they will be used is another thing entirely.
