After the Champions League loss, Sergio Conceicao is planning to make changes at the weekend, and AC Milan may see a league debut.
There are many reasons why Conceicao may be considering making changes. For example, he may want to alter the tactical face of his squad, or perhaps rest players in view of the second leg. Perhaps, the two combine.
However, the is almost a guarantee that there will be changes this weekend against Verona.
Reports this week have hinted at a move back to a 4-3-3, as the side were too unbalanced with the attack all starting together, and whilst it may be revisited at some point, it will almost definitely be shelved this weekend in favour of a more balanced team.
The facilitator for this will be Yunus Musah – who is back available after serving his suspension. It has been a difficult season for the American, but he has a chance to redeem himself and he will look to take it with both hands.
Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News) writes that he will ‘play immediately’ and will be brought into the side along with Alex Jimenez or Riccardo Sottil – if the latter plays or starts, it will be his league debut for Milan.
