AC Milan could use Alexis Saelemaekers to help them sign Tammy Abraham from AS Roma this summer as the Belgian is surplus to requirements under Paulo Fonseca.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), the Rossoneri would like to go into the new season with three strikers and another could be signed along with Alvaro Morata.

The Spanish striker is set to arrive in the very near future and Luke Jovic is still at the club, and Abraham is one of a handful of names that could arrive too.

The English striker has supposedly been proposed to Milan by his agents with his time at Roma potentially coming to a close.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is considering the idea of signing Abraham but he is not necessarily the priority right now.

Roma would like €25-30m for Abraham which Milan would not want to pay without it being the optional fee on a loan deal, but Roma have no interest in loaning the player out.

The hope is that an agreement could be reached for around €17m, and Milan could throw Saelemaekers in as Daniel De Rossi is an admirer of the Belgian winger who was playing for Bologna on loan last season.
