MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf U-17 Men’s Qualifiers continues with six matches on Sunday in the ongoing quest to be one of the eight Concacaf at the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Play will continue in Groups A, B, and C, where Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico will kick off their respective campaigns after resting during the first matchday.
Groups A through C contain five teams, while the rest of the groups feature four nations each. Curaçao (Group A), Guyana (Group B), and Barbados (Group C) will sit idle for the second matchday.
Group A
Turks and Caicos Islands vs. Canada
Turks and Caicos Islands meets Canada in Group A at the National Sports Centre in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda.
Turks and Caicos seeks to build on its three-point start after a 3-nil win against Anguilla. Wepsdel Saintilus opened the scoring in the 2’ before Schuyler Selver extended the lead with a brace in the first half.
Canada will begin its 19th participation in the final round and holds a 38-16-30 record all-time. The Reds search for a ninth trip to the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Bermuda vs. Anguilla
Bermuda hosts Anguilla in Group A at the National Sports Centre in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda.
Both nations will seek to recover from defeats and earn their first three points of the campaign. Bermuda fell 6-1 to current leaders Curaçao, with Kennahz Fray scoring the lone goal for the Group A hosts. Anguilla fell 3-nil to the Turks and Caicos Islands in its opening match.
Group B
Trinidad and Tobago vs. British Virgin Islands
Trinidad and Tobago meets the British Virgin Islands in Group B at Estadio Nacional in San José, Costa Rica.
The Soca Warriors rescued a 1-1 draw with Guyana through a Philip Nelson goal in the second half. The British Virgin Islands rose to first place on the first matchday with a 4-nil win against Sint Maarten, with the goals coming from Sam Sharma, Latriel Williams, and a Luca Stuttard brace.
Sint Maarten vs. Costa Rica
Sint Maarten faces Costa Rica in Group B at Estadio Nacional in San José, Costa Rica.
Sint Maarten will seek to rebound from a 4-nil defeat against the British Virgin Islands. Costa Rica will start its 19th participation in the final round and acquire its 11th trip to the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Group C
Nicaragua vs. Belize
Nicaragua and Belize meet with first place in Group C on the line at the Mexican Football Federation facilities in Toluca, Mexico.
Nicaragua won 6-nil against Barbados to start its campaign. Juban Uriarte had a remarkable performance with four goals, with Yader Aviles and Edwin Zepeda also finding the back of the net.
Belize won 7-nil against Dominica to take first place in the group on opening day. D. Alessandro Valle, Jahson Stanford, and Marlon Meza each earned braces, and Breyden Olivas added the final goal. Meza also provided two assists in Belize’s first encounter.
Dominica vs. Mexico
Dominica meets Mexico in Group C at the Mexican Football Federation facilities in Toluca, Mexico.
Dominica will seek to earn its first points of the campaign after a 7-nil defeat in its opening match. Mexico will begin its 19th participation in the final round, boasting a 72-15-5 all-time record, and will seek a 16th trip to a FIFA U-17 World Cup.
