West Ham United will lock horns with Manchester United at Old Trafford this Sunday as they look to secure a good result on their travels in the Premier League. The Hammers were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth recently, so they would be eager to secure all three points this weekend.
David Moyes will stick with his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation and could make one change to his first XI for this game. Vladimir Coufal could get a chance to play from the start of this contest.
Alphonse Areola will function in goal for West Ham after conceding one goal in his last league appearance. Kurt Zouma will play alongside Konstantinos Mavropanos at the centre of Moyes’ defence as they look to keep the opposition attackers frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.
Vladimir Coufal will fill in as the right-back while Emerson Palmieri hopes to prove his worth on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well if West Ham want to secure a clean sheet this weekend.
Ben Johnson will offer cover for the full-back positions on the bench. However, Nayef Aguerd is a major doubt for this game at Old Trafford.

Midfield
Kalvin Phillips will anchor the midfield alongside Edson Alvarez as they focus on making life tough for the opposition at the centre of the park. The gifted trio of James Ward-Prowse, Tomas Soucek and Mohammed Kudus will play just ahead of them as part of West Ham‘s attack. Moyes would rely on them to do most of the damage on the counter.
Maxwel Cornet will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Jarrod Bowen will lead the line for the Hammers up top. He has to find a way to cause a few problems for the Man United defenders during the 90 minutes.
Danny Ings will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if the Hammers are in need of a goal by then. However, Michail Antonio is unlikely to recover in time for this clash.
