Antony's Real Betis team-mate Real Betis has praised the Manchester United winger after his side's 2-1 derby victory over Sevilla.
In an interview with DAZN, the former Real Madrid man praised the Brazilian and encouraged efforts to keep Antony at Betis for at least another season.
"We need to do some crowdfunding to see if we can keep him for at least another year", said Isco.
"I'm happy to have Antony here. He has impressed us with his humility and willingness to help. We've noticed a change since his arrival. I'm pleased for him and for the team," added the midfielder.
The winger's current loan from Manchester United does not include any option or obligation to buy, so another loan would have to be arranged - or a permanent transfer, which seems unlikely given that the Red Devils would want to recoup a sizeable chunk of the €95million fee they paid Ajax for Antony back in 2022.
The 25-year-old has adapted well to life in La Liga with four goals and five assists in 12 matches, Betis losing only two games since his arrival.
Real Betis are currently in fifth place in Spanish League, six points shy of a Champions League spot.
