The Eagles’ Katie Stengel featured for Liverpool when they defeated Chelsea 2-1 at the start of the 2022-23 season, winning one penalty and converting two.

Palace were beaten 4-0 by Spurs on their WSL debut, while Chelsea began with a narrow win over Aston Villa, who host Tottenham at Villa Park in Sunday’s last match.

After their draw at the Emirates, Manchester City are home to Brighton who beat Everton 4-0, while Arsenal head to Leicester.

The Foxes opened with a point at Liverpool, who head to West Ham. Manchester United were 3-0 winners over the Hammers and next entertain Everton who went down 4-0 at Brighton.

Charlton lead the Championship table with three wins from three and visit Blackburn, who pulled off a fine win at Southampton last week.

Birmingham and London City are both a couple of points behind the Addicks, with City at Durham and the Lionesses travelling to Sunderland.

Portsmouth play Newcastle in a clash of the promoted sides, while Southampton go up against Sheffield United.
