News about the 2030 World Cup broke on Wednesday afternoon, with the tournament set to begin in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay before moving to Spain, Portugal and Morocco. FIFA have confirmed the plans, with the tournament to kick-off in South America to mark 100 years since the first ever World Cup.

Klopp asks for replay after VAR debacle

Jürgen Klopp has called for Liverpool’s game at Tottenham to be replayed after a VAR blunder denied the Reds a goal on Sunday. “I’m used to wrong and difficult decisions, but something like this never happened,” the German said. “That is why I think a replay is the right thing to do.”
