Daniele De Rossi discussed what it will take for Roma to make improvements in the summer ahead of next season.

Following the team’s defeat to Empoli, which marked the end of their 23/24 campaign, De Rossi outlined areas for improvement going forward.

In his post-match interview with Roma TV, “We shouldn’t look too much ahead. Instead, we should focus on this match which will help us look into the future. This loss should be used as a starting point for what’s to come.”

“Of course it’s not like we’re going to start a new cycle off this match alone, but tonight’s loss certainly makes you understand many things.”

“The team we want to become is one that when points don’t matter you still play the game even if you have less motivation than your opponents, because there is a huge difference in quality that we want to ensure is felt on the pitch.”
