Alessandro Del Piero hopes Juventus qualify for the Champions League, but admits the Bianconeri’s season has been ‘very unusual.’
The Old Lady sits fourth in the Serie A table with a one-point lead over Roma and jut one game remaining.
This means that a win away at Venezia in the final matchday on Sunday would allow the Serie A giants to qualify for the 2025-26 Champions League.
Juventus have had a troubled season, which reached a turning point in March when they sacked coach Thiago Motta and replaced him with former defender Igor Tudor.
The Croatian tactician has won four games from eight, drawn three times and lost once.

“Juve are in the race for the Champions League. In short, a little bit of everything has happened this year. It’s been very unusual,” Juventus legend Del Piero told reporters in Florence on Monday via Ilbianconero.com.
“From an emotional point of view, I hope they win in Venice on Sunday or at least qualify for the Champions League. I’m from Veneto, so anything relegated to this region matters to me emotionally.”
Roma and Lazio are still in the race for a Champions League spot, but they must win their games and hope for a Champions League slip-up.
Roma will visit Torino on Sunday, while Lazio will host Lecce at the Stadio Olimpico.
“A Sunday like this will stir the hearts of many people,” concluded Del Piero.
“Some will end up celebrating, and others won’t. It’s great because it makes everything so balanced, and it’s a positive thing for the entire football environment.”
